Who We Are
Our Vision
God has created each of us to be a unique gift to others, to the church, and to the world. In society today we often get the message that who we are is not acceptable, so we pull back and conform to what others say they want and expect from us.
Fully Alive Ministries is committed to assisting people from all walks of life to be the full expression of God's love that we are each created to be. Through experiential training, small group curriculum, and other media, we are committed to equipping people to be fully alive.
Statement of Faith
Fully Alive Ministries is a Christian-based organization. We use time-tested training tools based on Christian principles in our programs.
The Trainer
Derek Watson is the lead trainer for Fully Alive Ministries. He has trained thousands of people over the past 10 years, assisting them to reignite passion and empowering them to live in freedom. Previously, Derek worked full-time in ministry, including tenure as CFO, then President of a training ministry, where he was responsible for supervising the training staff.
Currently, he works in financial management for a nonprofit research institute and consults with companies and individuals in peak performance management.
Derek lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife Laurie, and their three sons, Reed, Soren, and Tristan. He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University in psychology and linguistics, and an MBA in finance from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. Derek is the primary author of the book Killing the Victim before the Victim Kills You, which examines the principles that contribute to living a victorious and vibrant life.
